Remember to Use AI as a Tool, Not a Crutch
20 June 2025
Can you think without AI? Can your employees? Maybe not for long...
Just like every other technological advancement made throughout human history, overreliance on a tool erodes the ability and eventually knowledge of how to do the tasks it replaces (we are still not sure how the pyramids were built!).
First, what do you do when you suddenly do not have that tool anymore?
Second, what if that tool's purpose is directly linked to replacing your own thought processes?
Third, what do you do if/when that tool disappears... or worse, is taken from you?
The study of ChatGPT's impact on our brains that's outlined here is far from conclusive or definitive, but it IS something worth thinking about... especially in relation to raising children or structuring your business.
Just one of the reasons why I am keeping the Human in Human Resources for my business!
